How long is the service life of the liquefied gas storage tank?
The inspection period of LPG storage tanks is stipulated as follows:
1. External inspection period of liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks: at least once a year;
2. The internal and external inspection period is divided into: if the safety status level is 1 to 3, at least once every 6 years; If the safety status level is 3 to 4, at least once every 3 years;
For horizontal LPG storage tank with one of the following conditions, the internal and external inspection period should be appropriately shortened: the corrosion status of the medium to the pressure vessel data is unknown, the corrosion rate of the medium to the data is greater than 0.25 (mm/year), and the corrosion data recognized by the designer is seriously inaccurate; The welding performance of the data is poor, and it has been repaired many times during manufacturing; Initial inspection; Poor use conditions and low management level; The service life exceeds 15 years, and after technical appraisal, it is admitted that it cannot be used according to the normal inspection cycle; The inspector thought it should be shortened.

For an underground LPG tank with one of the following conditions, the internal and external inspection period can be appropriately extended: the inner layer of the non-metallic material is intact, but the inspection period should not exceed 9 years; Pressure vessels with a medium corrosion rate of less than 0. l mm/year or with strong corrosion-resistant metal fabrics, which have passed one to two internal and external inspections and are admitted to meet the original requirements, but should not exceed 10 years; For reaction vessels with catalysts and large liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks with fillers, the periodic inspection period shall be recognized by the user unit based on the design drawings and practical use conditions.
3. Withstand voltage test period: at least once every 10 years.
For LPG tank with one of the following conditions, the pressure resistance test must be carried out after passing the internal and external inspection: repair or replace the main pressure components by welding method; Changing the conditions of use and exceeding the original design parameters; Replacement material in front of the head fabric; Stop using it for two years and reuse it from scratch; Newly installed or moved LPG pressure vessel; Unable to conduct internal inspection; The user has doubts about the safety performance of the liquefied petroleum gas storage tank.
If the internal and external inspection or pressure resistance test cannot be carried out on schedule due to the special situation, the industrial LPG tank user unit must declare the reason and submit a declaration three months in advance. With the consent of the technical person in charge of the unit, the original inspection unit will put forward handling opinions, and the provincial competent department will inspect and agree., the labor department that issued the "Pressure Vessel Use Certificate" can only extend after filing the case, but generally it should not exceed 12 months.
